The Areola procedure is performed for the purpose of covering the scar around the teat wheel, which is caused by the colour of the teat, which is too cloudy, or after surgery such as breast cancer or an inverted nipple. Because Areola’s colour is too blurry to make the colour darker, it is not suitable for making Areola bright and therefore the method is discussed during counselling. Whether it is successful or not depends on the abundant experience of the expert, the possession of various pigments, and the correct colour for the skin of the customer.
